A child's height is determined by genetics. In most cases, the child's height falls between the height of the parents, closer so to the height of the parent of the same sex. Thus, boys' heights tend to be closer to the heights of their dads, and girls' closer to their moms.

There are height calculators available online, but those should be used only for entertainment purposes!
