Pedialyte is an electrolyte solution for infants. It is indicated to replace electrolytes lost with vomiting or diarrhea. Therefore, it is safe to use in infants. However, whenever a baby is sick, parents should touch basis with the infant's regular health care provider and get an advise about what needs to be done, because sometimes parents might not be aware of when a child needs to be evaluated by a licensed medical professional.

    Best regards.
