A delicious, cold beverage for those hot days spent in the garden.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup fresh blackberries
1 1/2 tsp. white sugar
1 Tbsp. water
2 bottles Izze Sparkling Blackberry Juice
2 cups chilled water, sparkling or plain
chilled glasses
chilled blackberries for garnishing
lemon wedges for garnishing
crushed ice (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1) Puree blackberries in a food processor, then strain puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds. Stir in sugar, and add water to thin if necessary. Chill for 1 hour.
2) Give the puree a stir, then add 1 tablespoon to each chilled glass. Add 1/2 cup Izze Sparkling Blackberry Juice and 1/3 cup sparkling or plain water. Stir to combine.
3) Add ice cubes and stir once more. Skewer two blackberries on a toothpick and place in the glass as shown. Add a wedge of lemon, and serve immediately.
Makes 8 servings.
