Review: Baggu Reusable Bags

Baggu says that their reusable bags are not just for the grocery store.

They're right.

On my walk to the office today, I carried my purse and extra odds and ends in a Baggu bag. I just slung it over my shoulder, and I was off. Once I got to the office and dropped off my other items, I just folded my Baggu bag and slipped it inside my purse.

Not only do I love how sturdy Baggu bags are (they're made out of 100% Ripstop nylon -- no rips or tears here!), but I love that they're so affordable. They're super cute and come in so many different colors; hold more than plastic grocery bags; and make me feel warm and fuzzy when I use them.

They fold flat into a 5"x5" pouch, so I'm able to keep one on hand in my small purse at all times. All the others are kept balled up in one Baggu bag in our car trunk for shopping trips.

The thing I hate about using plastic bags, even recycled plastic bags, is that if we don't recycle them when we're done, they will never decompose in our landfills. Even if we reuse them, like to line small garbage cans or to pick up after our pets, they will still pile up in our landfills century after century.

That really bothers me.

And for those of you worried about your canvas totes retaining bacteria from leaky groceries (like meat juice, yuck!), Baggu bags are so much easier to wash and dry -- because they're nylon!

Another plus? You can find a color your picky husband won't be embarrassed to carry when he does the shopping.

We have six Baggu bags right now, but we plan on buying more. And you can even use them as gift bags! What a great, reusable gift that keeps on giving!

Baggu bags come in many different sizes, colors, and styles. Check them out for yourself! http://baggubag.com/
