PluggedInParents.com is a website for parents who want to plug into the latest practical information. Staying on top of current issues is a daunting task, which is why we strive to bring you the most relevant topics in an all-in-one online magazine.

PluggedInParents.com is based in southeast Michigan and was created by four friends currently employed in varying professional fields. We wanted a way to share our expert advice with the general public, thus PluggedInParents.com was born.

Our website serves as a source of reliable practical information related to health, nutrition, safety, parenting, and much more. The main aspects of the website focus on infant, child, and adolescent health. Our expert-written articles provide evidence-based information in a user-friendly format where parents may learn about simple and complex issues of parenting and find answers to common childhood issues. In addition, readers have an option of contacting Dr. Hillary, a pediatric nurse practitioner, with questions related to infant, child, adolescent, and family health. Those questions are answered and posted anonymously on the website in a timely manner.

By providing readers with an option to ask a question related to infant, child, adolescent, and family health, we want parents to be able to get answers to non-emergent questions that they never had a chance to discuss with their child’s health care provider, or were embarrassed to ask a health care professional face-to-face. Dr. Hillary will also clarify some of the misconceptions or hesitations that parents might have in relationship to healthcare practices or research finding because of what they watched on the news or heard from a friend.

Although the main focus of PluggedInParents.com is childhood health, safety and nutrition, we also provide other valuable information, covering all facets of family life. Our Chef Mom, Sophia, features a selection of tasty and nutritious recipes that are quick to prepare and won’t break the bank each month. We also offer enriching family activity and craft suggestions, as well as money and technology guides and advice, and targeted blogs. An entire section on pets provides pros and cons of different animals or breeds, along with training techniques and tips. There are also family movie reviews by Movie Megan that showcase which films are most entertaining for both kids and adults.

We hope our visitors find the information they need and keep coming back for more.

Sincerely,
Dr. Monika, Mandy, Ed, and Max
